India
February 2022
In February of 2022, my mom, sister and I traveled to India to meet many relative who we had not seen for 7 years, including my grandmother who passed away in November of that year. We traveled and stayed at Ahmedabad and Bharuch, which are in Gujarat. We traveled the cities, had great food, and also visited aquariums and zoos. My uncles own a school, which we visited and walked around. It was a big school, especially for the grade level students attending that school However, most importantly, we visited the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world.
England-Scotland
July-August 2022
During summer of 2022, we went to London for my uncle's wedding and then to Glasgow to meet my cousin. Our family members from Australia came as well. We explored London, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Leicester in UK and Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland. We visited Buckingham Palace, Wimbledon, Baker Street, Lord's, Shakespeare's birthplace, and castles in Scotland. We had a lot of fun exploring these places, not to mention my uncle's wedding. This is for sure one of my favorite trips.
Washington, D.C.
April 2023
In April-2023, my family visited Washington, D.C. This was part of my civic education as I had started to learn about the US government. We visited the White House, Air and Space museums, Lincoln, Jefferson and war monuments and museums. We got visitor's passes to tour the Capitol. On our way bac, we stayed a night at a hotel with the beautiful view of Times Square from our hotel window.
Disney Fantasy Cruise
November 2023
In November of 2023 during Thanksgiving break, we went on a Disney Fantasy Royal Caribbean cruise and visited Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas and Grant Cayman. It was a lot of fun whether we stayed on the cruise or went ashore for an excursion. We climbed up a waterfall in Jamaica, swam with Dolphin in Cozumel, Mexico, and walked pristine beaches in Grand Cayman and snorkeled in Bahamas. There was great food and plenty of fun activities to do on the cruise. This was truly one of the greatest vacations I have ever had.
