My Work
Throughout my sophomore year of high school, including the summers before and after, I picked up a couple of local jobs in my area, which would be the first dollar I made.
Market Basket
In August of 2023, I started my first ever job, earning my first dollar. I worked at a local supermarket, called Market Basket. This job was pretty straight forward - bag groceries and transport carts from the parking lot back inside. I liked it but it was difficult working outside during the harsh New England winter. I started looking for an indoor job.
CVS Pharmacy
My 2nd job was at CVS Pharmacy. It was more complex than bagging groceries, although I learned quickly. I was happy as it was indoor. At CVS, I would constantly talk with customers and learned to use the cash register. I also learned to track items and find the exact place they belong to using a device I was given. I even learned to take passport photos and print other photos that were ordered. In the end, I left that job to focus on my high school junior year academic work.
Web Development
I offer web development services to my clients. I create websites (using the skills I learned while building my own website) for small businesses and non-profit organizations.
